app or any of their services to come on down to Microsoft’s mobile OS,
you’re outta luck.
Apparently Google isnt very keen on bringing their apps and services to Windows Phone or Windows 8. Why? Because Mountain View thinks there’s a lack of interest in the platforms. Google Apps Product Management, Clay Bavor, stated in an interview with V3:
Bet Microsoft isnt too pleased with this, eh? There’s a lot of folks who use Google’s services out there, and having their apps on Windows Phone would have certainly made for a smoother transition.

“We have no plans to build out Windows apps. We are very careful about where we invest and will go where the users are but they are not on Windows Phone or Windows 8.”Basically Bavor thinks that if there’s more interest and more demand from Windos 8 and Windows Phone users for Google services, then Google might consider it. But for now, they’re all about Android, their own mobile operating system and iOS, as is evident from today’s release of Google Maps for iPhone, which is too large a platform for them to ignore.
