Microsoft announced today, that the Windows Phone Web Store for
apps and games opens up to 37 new countries today, adds support to
install apps using SD card.
That makes it 112 countries supported right now, while the phone store is available in 191 countries. The markets that got the web store today include:
Angola, Armenia, Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, Congo (DRC), Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guinea, Haiti, Honduras, Kenya, Liechtenstein, Madagascar, Malawi, Malaysia, Mali, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Niger, Pakistan, Paraguay, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Togo, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Yemen, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
Apparently Microsoft also integrated universal search in the Web Store so that you can see search results in one place instead of having to go to one section to search for apps, and another to search for articles on Microsoft’s site.
All that, and the web store now supports installing apps via SD card, which Microsoft states is useful for those situations where you dont have a solid Wifi or data connection. More info right at the source link below y’all.
